A 44-year-old rape-cum-murder convict escaped from the Central Jail in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly on Monday morning amid dense fog, police mentioned.
Narpal alias Sonu, who was present process jail time period after being convicted in a rape and homicide case, fled after leaping over the boundary wall benefiting from the heavy fog, they mentioned.
