Union Training Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ on April 8 launched ‘College students’ and Academics’ Holistic Development by way of High quality Training (SARTHAQ), the Nationwide Training Coverage (NEP) 2020 implementation plan for varsity training. Mr Pokhriyal chaired a high-level assembly for implementation of NEP, in presence of upper training secretary Amit Khare, College Training secretary Anita Karwal and senior officers of the ministry.

This implementation plan was launched as part of the celebrations resulting in the Amrit Mahotsav on 75 years of Indian independence, an official assertion stated.
SARTHAQ retains in thoughts the concurrent nature of training and adheres to the spirit of federalism, the ministry stated.
The plan delineates the roadmap for implementation of NEP 2020 for the following 10 years. States and Union Territories have been given the pliability to adapt the plan with “native contextualization”. They’ve been allowed to switch the plan as per their wants and necessities, the Training Ministry stated.
SARTHAQ has been developed in session withStates and UTs, Autonomous our bodies and ideas acquired from stakeholders. “Round 7177 ideas/inputs had been acquired from them. A trainer’s fest, ‘ShikshakParv’ was particularly organized from eighth to twenty fifth September 2020 for discussing varied suggestions of NEP 2020 and its implementation methods, which attracted round 15 lakh ideas,” an official assertion stated.
Mr Pokhriyal urged all of the stakeholders to make use of the SAETHAQ plan as a “guiding star” to undertake “transformational reforms within the college training sector.”
He stated that just like the coverage itself, the plan can be interactive, versatile and inclusive.
