Microsoft Flight Simulator has released its latest World Update, this time bringing geographic enhancements and handcrafted landmarks across 13 countries and 28 non-sovereign territories to its digital version of Oceania and Antarctica.
According to developer Asobo’s announcement post, World Update 13 improves Microsoft Flight Sim’s Polynesia (Hawaii and Easter Island), Melanesia (Fiji, New Caledonia, New Guinea, Indonesia’s West Papua and Solomon Islands), the Galapagos Islands and the Keys. brings Areas of Antarctica including the Antarctic Peninsula.
Today’s update expands on previous presentations of each area with new aerial photos, satellite imagery and digital elevation modeling data, including an updated elevation area for Hawaii and a version of the city of Honolulu that features “dozens” of hand-crafted buildings. presents.
