The director of horror film Talk to Me is reportedly all set to direct the new Street Fighter film.
Australian twin filmmakers Danny and Michael Filippo are in final talks to direct a live-action adaptation of the famous fighting game franchise, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
We don’t know anything about the movie yet, though The Hollywood Reporter speculates that if Phillips, the man behind Talk to Me (trailer below), is being hired, “tension and gore will be on the agenda.” could.” Maybe we’ll see Ryu split Sagat’s chest with Dragon Punch?
The giant, which declined to comment, bought the film and TV rights to Street Fighter earlier this month. It’s working with Capcom on the film.
